Position: Senior Costing Engineer – Casting & Machining

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Work From Office

Salary: Up to 10 LPA (Yearly)

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for ferrous & non-ferrous castings and machined components.
Develop cost models for sand casting, die casting (GDC/PDC), investment casting, and bar stock.
Analyze machining costs, tooling, machine time, overheads, and production feasibility.
Collaborate with Design (NPD), Procurement, and suppliers for RFQs and cost optimization.
Maintain costing databases, BOMs, and historical cost records.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.




4 to 7 years of experience in costing/estimation within the casting, forging, or manufacturing industry.
Solid understanding of foundry processes, machining operations, and cost structures.
Experience with OEM or foundry costing, BOM management, and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:
Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, or Heavy Manufacturing.
Exposure to Foundry Recent Product Development (NPD).

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
