Job Description
Handle hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment.
Attend breakdown maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize machine downtime.
Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as per schedule and maintain maintenance checklists.
Monitor machine availability, MTTR, MTBF and downtime and take corrective actions.
Ensure availability of critical maintenance spares and monitor spare inventory.
Coordinate with Stores, Purchase and external vendors/subcontractors for timely availability of spares and specialized repairs.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Support TPM, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with Production for operator-driven maintenance and machine improvement activities.
Supervise and allocate work to blue-collar associates, mechanics, fitters and contract technicians.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance SOPs and company procedures.
