Role & responsibilities
Oversee overall nursing administration and ensure smooth functioning of all clinical areas including OPD, IPD, ICU, Emergency, OT, and specialty units.
Plan, organize, and supervise nursing services while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Manage nursing manpower planning, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and statutory requirements.
Lead recruitment, orientation, training, competency assessment, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
Monitor nursing quality indicators, patient satisfaction, clinical documentation, and medication safety practices.
Coordinate with medical consultants, quality team, HR, and hospital administration for seamless operations.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, accreditation activities, and patient safety programs.
Handle emergency preparedness,



disaster management, and critical incident response.
Develop and mentor nursing leaders while promoting continuous career development.

Preferred candidate profile
M.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council Registration.
1218 years of experience in nursing services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as Nursing Superintendent/Deputy Nursing Superintendent/Chief Nursing Officer.
Experience in NABH-accredited multi-specialty or super-specialty hospitals (500+ beds preferred).
Robust knowledge of hospital quality standards, infection control, nursing operations, and manpower management.
Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team management skills.
Proficient in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Microsoft Office.
