Support Engineer (Linux | Kubernetes | OpenShift)

Role Summary

We are hiring a Support Engineer with 24 years of production support experience to support distributed data environments running on Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes) on Linux servers.

Mandatory Skills
Robust hands-on experience with Linux Operating System (OS).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift (kubectl/oc).
Candidates without practical Linux and Kubernetes experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor production systems using Grafana, Prometheus, and Thanos.
Troubleshoot Linux servers, application logs, and Kubernetes resources.
Monitor pods, nodes, services, and cluster health.
Investigate performance issues, slow database queries,



and resource utilization.
Work with Infrastructure and Development teams to resolve production incidents.
Participate in rotational/on-call support.

Required Skills
24 years in Production/Application Support.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Kubernetes/OpenShift administration (kubectl/oc).
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Thanos.
Basic understanding of databases, replication, failover, and cluster health.
Positive analytical and communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
