Key Responsibilities
Fleet Maintenance: Schedule routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, and necessary repairs.
Route Planning: Optimize daily delivery routes to reduce fuel use and guarantee on-time arrivals.
Regulatory Compliance: Track driver work hours, licensing, and safety standards (such as local motor vehicle acts and weight limits).
Team Management: Hire, train, supervise, and schedule drivers and dispatch personnel.
Budget Control: Monitor transportation costs, negotiate vendor and carrier contracts, and manage departmental spending.





Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2 to 5+ years in logistics, fleet management, or a supply chain role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Certifications: Valid local driving licenses or professional certificates of competency in transport operations where required.
Core Skills: Robust leadership, problem-solving under pressure, familiarity with GPS/fleet tracking software, and deep knowledge of safety laws
