DesignBoxed is looking for a self-motivated cartoonist, driven by creativity and versatility. The candidate must possess the ability to create hand-drawn or computer-generated cartoons which can offer commentaries, tell stories or instruct the audience effectively. The onus of striking the right chord with the audience through creative cartoons will lie on the cartoonist.
Job Responsibilities:
Sketching and submitting cartoons for approval
Developing creative ideas for comic strips, animations, and/or cartoons
Rendering sequential drawings for animation purposes
Studying relevant topics that add value to cartoon designs and comic strips
Educational Qualifications & Experience
A relevant degree or diploma along with hands-on designing and creative skills
Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
Solid conceptual and visual design skills leading to thoughtful creative execution
Skill appreciation certifications will provide an added advantage
Other Prerequisites
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Highly proficient in design aspects and latest trends
Candidate should possess a knack for creativity, originality, versatility and
professionalism
Up-to-date knowledge of industry-leading software and technologies
(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW etc.)
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a robust portfolio
Ability to interact and convey unique ideas creatively
Positive outlook and willingness to learn and work in a team as well as
individually
Highly self-motivated to work in a creatively challenging atmosphere
Willing to push the boundaries of hard work in order to bring out the best of
abilities
