About the Role

Waveline Sports operates the Michael Phelps Swimming Program across 30+ centres in India. We are hiring a Swimming Coach for our Mumbai centre to conduct lessons across our level-based curriculum, coach young children, and support centre safety and safeguarding operations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct swimming lessons as per the Michael Phelps Swimming Program curriculum across assigned batches
Assess current students, assign appropriate levels, and track progression through the level system
Maintain in-water safety at all times — active supervision, correct student-to-coach ratios, no unattended students
Supervise assigned changing room and shower areas as per the centre's safeguarding roster; ensure member privacy protocols are followed
Provide poolside assistance to young children entering and exiting the pool
Maintain daily attendance, progress records,



and level assessments in the company CRM
Communicate with parents on student progress, batch timings, and level advancement
Support the Head Coach with batch scheduling, trial sessions, and level tests
Participate in monthly safety drills, CPR refreshers, and curriculum training
Report incidents, near-misses, and any safeguarding concern immediately to the Head Coach
