Role & responsibilities
Meeting production targets as per business plan.
Coordinate work order and material flow within manufacturing area, assign and position resources based on work order demand and priorities
All aspects related to the execution of the manufacturing schedule including coordinating material, communication with other departments, ensuring maintenance and housekeeping issues are addressed
Jobs setting & machining of critical parts as per drawing & documents with zero deviations.
Sustain and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), DPU (Defects Per Unit), FPY (First Pass Yield)
Responsible for TPM. Active participation in Kaizens, 5S and Process improvement.
Tool crib management.
Daily, weekly and monthly production reporting and MIS
Control over Rejection and Rework




Accurate completion of quality checklists and production paperwork

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must:
BE or Diploma in Mechanical

Desirable
Six Sigma Certified
Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, Quality Systems/ TPM/ Lean/ CNC Programming/ Process documentation as per ISO 9001:2008.

Relevant EXPERIENCE:

Must:
Minimum of 15 years related experience.
Hands on experience to operate 5 axis CNC machines
Knowledge of heavy & precision parts machining

Desirable:
Working Experience in Defence Sector.
