Role Overview
The Project Manager (Technical) will plan, coordinate, and deliver technical projects across Loch's IT, cloud, and web development functions. This role requires a robust blend of project management discipline and technical understanding, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standard. The Project Manager (Technical) will act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, stakeholders, and, where relevant, client representatives.

Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in consultation with stakeholders
Develop and maintain project plans, tracking progress against milestones and deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams including development, cloud infrastructure, and IT support
Manage project budgets, timelines, and risks, escalating issues as needed
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate quality assurance and testing activities prior to project delivery
Manage resource allocation across concurrent projects in coordination with functional leads
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews




Liaise with vendors and third parties involved in project delivery as required

Key Deliverables
Projects delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope and quality standards
Project risks and issues identified and mitigated proactively with minimal disruption
Stakeholders kept informed through regular, accurate status reporting
Complete and organised project documentation maintained for all managed projects

Required Skills and Attributes
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches
Solid technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, web development, or software delivery
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Effective risk management and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Four to five years of experience managing technical projects; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is an advantage
