About the Role

The Data & AI team is looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer who can contribute across the complete AI engineering lifecycle from prototype and architecture through development, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

You will work on solutions involving:

- Generative AI and LLM applications
- RAG engines and document intelligence
- AI agents and business assistants
- Python-based backend and APIs
- React-based web applications
- Cloud deployment on Azure and GCP
- Docker and CI/CD
- Monitoring, observability and AI response quality

This is an end-to-end engineering role. We are looking for someone who can move beyond experimentation and help take AI solutions into reliable, scalable and maintainable production environments.

International Collaboration

You will work closely with French onshore and offshore teams, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders across locations.

The role requires flexibility to work with overlapping CET (Central European Time)



working hours to ensure effective collaboration with the French team.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI & LLM Development

- Develop applications using LLMs and Generative AI services.
- Design and implement RAG architectures, including ingestion, embeddings, semantic search and contextualized response generation.
- Develop AI agents and business assistants capable of interacting with documents, APIs and internal tools.
- Work on prompt engineering, guardrails, response quality and evaluation mechanisms.

Backend & Full Stack Development

- Develop robust REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design backend components, microservices and application connectors.
- Develop or integrate web interfaces using React or equivalent technologies.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, readability and documentation.

Cloud & DevOps

- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Set up and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to deployments on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with Git, Terraform and Ansible where applicable.
- Contribute to monitoring, logging, observability and performance optimization.

Architecture & Industrialization

- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical reviews.
- Support technical scoping with Business Teams, Product Owners and Data & AI teams.
- Identify technical risks, blockers and opportunities for industrialization.
- Document architectures, technical decisions and operating procedures.
- Apply security, governance and operational best practices for AI projects.

Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of experience in software development, depending on seniority and technical autonomy.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI projects or advanced document search solutions.
- Strong command of Python and backend API development.
- Good understanding of Cloud, DevOps and production deployment practices.
- Experience working across the technology lifecycle — Backend, Frontend, AI, Integration, Deployment and Operations.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data, AI or a related discipline.
