Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Server & Storage Administrator to manage enterprise server, storage, backup, and recovery infrastructure. The role involves Windows Server administration, system updates and patch management, backup and recovery, hardware/software troubleshooting, system monitoring, and ensuring compliance and availability across the enterprise environment.

MUST HAVE:

- 4+ years of experience in Server and Backup Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools, preferably Veritas.
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services.
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and Cloud.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in system updates, upgrades, and patch management.
- Experience in backup monitoring, testing, and recovery troubleshooting.
- Ability to coordinate with OEMs for hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of information security policies and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain inventory of hardware devices in the Data Centre.




- Monitor and maintain enterprise servers.
- Perform system updates, upgrades, and patch management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software-related issues.
- Coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Ensure backup and recovery mechanisms are in place for all devices.
- Assist in deploying new software and hardware.
- Monitor and manage backup systems.
- Perform scheduled backup and recovery testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backup-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams for recovery requirements and infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop and implement backup strategies and policies as required.
- Ensure devices are covered under AMC within the required timelines.
- Maintain updated documentation for system installations, configurations, and change management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and information security policies.
- Support closure of audit findings.
