Job Description Garment Merchandiser
Role Summary
The Garment Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating the complete merchandising
process, ensuring smooth communication between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams while
delivering products on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop cost sheets and prepare price quotations.
Source fabrics, trims, accessories, labels, tags, and other raw materials.
¢ Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement.
¢ Coordinate with design, production, quality, and sourcing teams for seamless order execution.
¢ Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
¢ Track inventory of fabrics, trims, accessories, labels, and tags.
¢ Resolve production, sourcing, labels, tags, and quality-related issues.
¢ Prepare purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and other merchandising documents.
¢ Maintain accurate records of orders, costing, approvals, and shipments.
¢ Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with logistics teams.
¢ Build and maintain robust relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
