Role Purpose:
To collect, validate, analyze, and interpret compensation and employee data to support salary benchmarking, compensation surveys, market pricing, and customized client reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Management
- Maintain large datasets and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, standardization, and reconciliation.

- Compensation & Salary Benchmarking

- Calculate statistics such as minimum, maximum, average, median, quartiles, and percentiles (P25/P50/P75/P90).
- Support job matching and job-level alignment for compensation benchmarking.

- Salary Survey Report Generation

- Prepare periodic salary survey and compensation benchmarking reports.
- Generate customized reports for clients based on their requirements.
- Create salary tables, charts, dashboards, and market comparison analyses.
- Ensure reports are accurate, visually clear, and delivered within agreed timelines.

- Excel / BI / Statistical Analysis

- Use advanced Excel for data processing, formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and reporting.




- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI/Tableau, where applicable.
- Use SQL/Python/R, if required, for large-scale data extraction and analysis.
- Automate repetitive data-processing and reporting activities.

- Quality & Confidentiality

- Conduct multiple levels of data quality checks before publishing survey results.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and employee compensation information.
- Follow data privacy, security, and internal quality-control procedures.

Skills/Qualifications

Essential:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, HR, or a related field.
- Solid Advanced Excel skills.
- Good understanding of statistics and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and data-quality mindset.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Good report-writing and presentation skills.

Good to have:

- Power BI/Tableau
- SQL
- Python/R
- Knowledge of compensation & benefits / HR analytics
