Role & responsibilities - Core Development Tasks
- Build custom reports, forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms), and workflows.
- Create interfaces and data integrations using BAPIs, BADIs, IDocs, and RFCs.
- Write clean Object-Oriented ABAP code and CDS views for SAP S/4HANA.
- Modify standard SAP features safely using user exits and enhancement spots. [1, 2, 3]
Analysis and Collaboration
- Review functional specifications provided by business analysts.
- Write detailed technical design documents.
- Estimate development time and scope for new objects.
Testing and Support
- Perform unit testing to validate code accuracy.
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Debug and fix bugs in live production environments.
- Optimize old code to improve system speed and database
