About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic QA Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about software quality, has strong analytical skills, and is eager to learn modern testing practices. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

- - Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Trello, or ClickUp.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Execute manual test cases and contribute to test coverage improvements.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman (if trained).
- Support test automation initiatives by writing basic scripts (optional).
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings (Agile environment).
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.

Technical Skills

- - Basic understanding of SDLC STLC.
- Good knowledge of manual testing concepts (Smoke, Regression, Functional,



Boundary testing, etc.)
- Ability to write clear and detailed test cases bug reports.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (SELECT, JOINs preferred).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman) is a plus.
- Awareness of automation tools like Selenium / Playwright (good to have).

Soft Skills

- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and processes.
- Attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Qualification

- - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Software testing certification (ISTQB/QA Foundation) is a plus but not required.

Nice to Have

- - Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic understanding of version control (Git).
- Any academic or internship experience in testing.
