About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 35 years of experience in manual software testing. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in test case design, requirement analysis, functional and regression testing, and defect management, along with the ability to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements and identify comprehensive test scenarios.
- Design, document, and execute detailed test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify potential risks and ensure adequate risk-based test coverage.
- Execute test cases, document results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Participate in defect triage, root-cause discussions, and verification of fixes.
- Follow STLC and defect management processes and maintain testing documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar tools to:
- Generate and optimize test cases.
- Identify missing scenarios and edge cases.




- Analyze requirements and improve test coverage.
- Support exploratory testing and defect analysis.
- Improve overall testing productivity and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Excellent understanding of test scenario and test case design.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Good understanding of STLC and defect management.
- Ability to identify edge cases, boundary conditions, negative scenarios, and testing risks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Practical experience using AI tools for software testing and QA activities.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Understanding of test automation concepts.
- Exposure to Playwright automation framework.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, or similar QA tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
