Role & responsibilities

- Initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription.
- To prepare dialysate according to established procedures
- Reprocess blood tubings and dialyser.
- To maintain accurate documentation & Filing
- Initiate Patient admission (Clinical) procedure.
- To document treatment parameters and communicates patient condition and issues to Sr. Technician / AKD Incharge
- To monitor patient during dialysis
- To Respond appropriately to dialysis related emergencies
- Follow universal precaution and infection control policy in dialysis unit.
- Implement patient care plan as directed by Nephrologist / Physician.
- Monitor patient outcomes.
- Ensures that the center complies with all AKCs policies and procedures.




- To daily update dialysis treatment record in office clinical software.
- Ensures that medical records are complete.
- To attend on call emergency dialysis
- To attend IPD Dialysis
- Work as a team member
