Mandatory Skills
6+ years in data governance / data management, including 3+ years recent hands-on Microsoft Purview
Minimum one end-to-end Purview implementation taken live in production at enterprise scale
Data Map - scan configuration, integration runtimes, classification rules, managed and custom classifiers
Unified Catalog - governance domains, data products, glossary terms, critical data elements, ownership and access policies
End-to-end lineage capture and validation across Azure Data Factory / Fabric / Synapse and BI layers
Purview Data Quality - profiling, rules, scorecards and health controls
Azure data platform depth (ADLS, Synapse, Fabric, SQL) plus solid SQL
Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and Purview roles / permissions model

Nice to Have
Microsoft Fabric governance and OneLake integration
DSPM for AI, Compliance Manager, Data Lifecycle Management
Migration from legacy catalogs (Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC) to Purview
Microsoft certifications (DP-600, DP-700, SC-400) or DAMA CDMP
Regulated domain exposure - healthcare, banking, insurance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
