Responsibilities

- Roll out and manage AWS firewall solutions including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs.
- Troubleshoot and remediate firewall/ACL configuration issues.
- Support network design changes such as segmentation, routing, and security zoning within AWS.
- Build automation (scripts, IaC, tooling) for firewall management and remediation workflows, leveraging AI-assisted approaches.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable security controls for ZTNA, SASE, IDS, and auditing tools in cloud infrastructures.
- Hands-on work with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, network traffic security controls, and firewall policy management.
- Cloud security tasks involving AWS, Azure, GCP, security groups, WAF, and DDoS protection.
- Develop automation integrating firewalls with device management platforms using Python, Bash, APIs, Terraform, CloudFormation, and user data scripts.
- Use network monitoring and analytics tools like NetFlow, sFlow, and packet analysis.

Requirements

Must-have:

- Strong AWS networking/security experience: VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall.




- 7-10 years cybersecurity/security engineering experience with solid network security expertise.
- Cloud security knowledge across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Engineering/scripting skills in Python, Terraform, Bash, or similar for automation.
- AI/ML skills to build or integrate AI-assisted automation.
- Solid grasp of network design, firewall/ACL remediation, and firewall policy reviews focusing on rule hygiene, least-privilege, and compliance.
- Experience automating change management workflows including rule change requests, approvals, validation, and rollback.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-have:

- DevSecOps experience.
- Advanced automation skills and experience leveraging AI tools for coding and automation.
