Responsibilities

- Ownership of category merchandising, content within the online GreenMyLife shop portal
- Enlisting recent products and making it SEO (search engine optimization) friendly
- Dealing/ negotiating with suppliers
- Lead planning budgeting for merchandise procurement
- Managing the online business and reacting to current trends to deliver optimum sales and margin results
- Planning and developing the product range and finalizing the pricing strategy for products
- Develop and execute strategy for growth within category
- Collaborating with the leadership team to establish strategic plans and focused objectives for continued online growth and development
- Identifying and building on business opportunities that arise from sales performance/trend analysis

Required Skills and Experience

- The right candidate for this job will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will work well in a fast-paced team setting. A passion for online shopping is essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in ecommerce and/or social media. Candidates should be well-versed and interested in gardening, landscaping and all this green.




- Solid merchandise analysis experience and the understanding of how to drive insights from web analytics
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills; experience with building and managing small teams
- Photography and Photoshop skills will be an added bonus
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively within a team and across an organization
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency in resolving customer service issues
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative setting or independently with minimal supervision
