Job Summary:

- Reporting to the AGM - Screen Design, the successful candidate will be responsible for all engineering aspects related to existing and upcoming range of screens and filters with Jash Engineering Ltd. This will include responsibility for order related engineering, new product development, product range extension and technical support to other functions.

Job responsibilities:

- Technical review of tender specifications and layout drawings.

- To ensure product compliance to standards and customer specifications.

- To discuss deviations in the specification with marketing department.

- To carry out design calculations and analysis for given performance parameters

- Check and approve drawings and revisions.

- Check and approve Bill of Materials

- Measurement, monitoring and improvement of functional and individual performance based on KPI

- Develop systems for tracking submittals, approvals, manufacturing drawings and bill of material issue against orders and report the progress to manager

- Analysis of site issues and resolution

- Implementing 3D CAD,



PLM database management and ERP system

Qualification/prerequisite

- Experience with mechanical design work and knowledge in manufacturing processes

- Ability to read and interpret blue print documents

- Knowledge and experience with utilization of CAD/3-D Modeling Software and handling Central data storage for designs and files through PLM

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel

- Good sketching and concept generation skills

- Ability to understand complex mathematical relationships that underpin mechanical analysis

Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in design calculations, design reviews related to hydro mechanical equipment (Screens, filters) used in waste water treatment industry.
- Knowledge of different type of screens and process equipment
- Experience of current product introduction and product development.
- Experience with any PLM and ERP system working
