Oversee daily operations across all departments: battery collection, crushing, lead smelting, plastic & acid separation, and waste management.
Monitor production metrics (output, downtime, energy use) and implement improvements.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and efficiency of recycling processes.
Enforce strict occupational health and safety standards (e.g., PPE use, lead exposure control).
Ensure compliance with local & international environmental regulations (e.g., Hazardous Waste Rules, EPA, CPCB/SPCB standards).
Supervise the safe storage, treatment, and disposal of lead, sulfuric acid, and other hazardous waste.
Implement Emergency Response Plans for incidents such as acid spills or lead contamination.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and inspections.
Coordinate with environmental agencies for licenses, permits, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with the Batteries (Management and Handling) Rules, Hazardous Waste Management Rules, Local labor and factory laws, etc.
Ensure that recovered lead, plastic, and other byproducts meet industry and customer quality standards.
Work with technical teams to improve smelting efficiency, reduce emissions, and enhance recovery rates.
Oversee maintenance schedules for plant machinery to minimize downtime.




Supervise, train, and develop production and technical staff.
Maintain valuable labor relations and workforce discipline.
Manage input (used batteries) and output (lead ingots, plastic chips, etc.) inventories.
Coordinate for procurement and logistics for raw material sourcing and product dispatch.
Ensure safe handling, transportation, and storage of hazardous materials.
Report key metrics and incidents to senior management.
Provide data for sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting.
Coordinate with stakeholders such as vendors, regulatory agencies, and community bodies.

Knowledge of lead metallurgy, smelting, and hazardous waste management, experience in recycling or heavy industry; Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; Working knowledge of regulations like Hazardous Waste Management Rules; Batteries (Management & Handling) Rules, CPCB/SPCB norms and international standards, etc; Procurement; Supply Chain Management; Ability to interact with pollution control boards and legal bodies; Managing third-party services for transport, maintenance, or material supply.
