Role & responsibilities

- Provide and check drawings / BOM as per customer requirements.
- Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) with no supervision from Engineer.
- Ensure drawings follow the Engineering and quality standards set by the leads.
- Prepare layout drawings to customer to present the proposed equipment and the function of the equipment.
- Prepare and complete various Mechanical, Piping, Structural deliverable drawings and documents such as layout/general arrangements, piping isometrics, piping schedule, piping tie-point/ interface drawings, piping insulation details, structural general

arrangement drawings, structural weld details /notes, structural connection detail drawings, foundation support details, equipment mounting / support details, pipe support details, weight / COG reports, manual valve list, HVAC ducting, instrumentation, flow diagrams, Process and Instrument Diagrams, pump alignment drawings, handrails /ladders, walkways, and stairs as per OSHA, platform and grating detailed drawings, etc.

- Help in solving problems by simulating the problems in drawings.
- Prepare sequence drawing and procedure for Factory Acceptance Test.
- Prepare and compile installation procedure for submission to customer.
- Supervise the outsourcing of engineering design work to 3rd party engineering / design firms when needed.
- Review,



as required, vendor data and drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications or applicable standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:

Experience in mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules or related workplace in similar industry.

- Ability to produce drawings / sketches to illustrate design / ideas.
- Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments (strongly preferred)
- General Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including
- AHRI Air-Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute
- AMCA Air Movement and Control Association International
- AISI – American Iron and Steel institute
- AISC – American Institute of Steel Construction
- AISI – American Iron and Steel institute
- ANSI – American National Standards Institute
- ASME – American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Mastery knowledge and proficiency in:

• Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)

• PDF Editor (Adobe, Foxit, or other equivalent)

• Solid Works

• Autodesk AutoCAD

• Navisworks Manager / Freedom

• Operational knowledge in:

• SAP (ERP Tool w/ Engineering Modules and Transactions)

• Autodesk Revit

• Autodesk BIM 360
