*Role Overview*

We are looking for an experienced business leader to head our Sri Lanka operations for the Fertilizer & Agri Inputs business. The role will be responsible for driving business growth, managing the complete P&L;, strengthening government and customer relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading end-to-end commercial and operational activities.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Business & Commercial*

Drive business development, market expansion, and profitability.

Own the country P&L; and achieve revenue and growth targets.

Develop distributor and dealer networks while managing key customer relationships.

Lead commercial negotiations, trade contracts, and international trade operations.

Handle government and private sector tenders.

*Government & Regulatory*

Liaise with Ministries, Customs, Ports, Inspection Agencies, Shipping Lines, Banks, Clearing Agents, and Regulatory Authorities.

Ensure compliance with all local legal, statutory,



and regulatory requirements.

*Operations & Supply Chain*

Oversee import operations, inland logistics, shipping, chartering, and inventory planning.

Manage trade finance activities including LC, BG, PBG, and SBLC.

Monitor demand forecasting, working capital, budgeting, and foreign exchange risks.

*Leadership*

Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.

Drive strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.

Promote corporate governance, ethical business practices, and enterprise risk management.

*Qualifications & Experience*

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

1015 years of experience in Fertilizer, Agri Inputs, or Agricultural Commodities.

Proven experience managing local distribution, government relations, commercial operations, and country/business unit leadership with full P&L; ownership.

Experience in international commodity trading will be an added advantage.
