Job Description

Job Title: Sr.Engineer Project Management / NPI (Recent Product Introduction)

Key Responsibilities

- Manage New Product Development (NPD) projects by following the APQP methodology and Global Product Development Process (GPDP).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout project phases and gate reviews to ensure timely product launches.
- Prepare and manage PPAP documentation for production approval.
- Perform project planning, budgeting, cost monitoring, and risk management activities.
- Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Monitor engineering changes, drawing releases, and Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.
- Review engineering drawings, BOM structures, and product variant configurations.




- Conduct Design Reviews, Change Review Boards (CRBs), and Product Review Boards (PRBs).
- Support SAP Material Management activities, including material master creation and BOM maintenance.
- Plan production schedules using MRP and order scheduling concepts.
- Understand and implement Make/Buy strategies for manufacturing components.
- Prepare PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and coordinate with warehousing and logistics teams.
- Support prototype builds, pilot production, and mass production readiness.
- Manage Spot Purchase Orders (POs), SLA-based procurement activities, and supplier coordination.
- Conduct process audits, product audits, and deviation management.
- Monitor production parameters such as cycle time, throughput time, and production efficiency.
- Support bucket production planning and transition into mass production.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and management presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
