ROLE SUMMARY
Runs the organisation's social presence end to end — auditing platforms, building content calendars, publishing in the right voice per channel, responding to crises within institutional approval chains, and reporting on what worked.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Platform audit & strategy: observe handles, produce a government-format strategy memo, and justify platform priority and a 30-day content mix.
- Content calendar: build 15-day calendars spanning X, Instagram (static + reel), LinkedIn and Hindi posts with platform-specific captions and visual direction.
- Crisis response: draft calm, non-defensive X responses (<280 chars) and 200–250 word statements; follow a explicit 3-step escalation protocol.
- Analytics & reporting: interpret performance data, explain declines plausibly,
and write a 250–300 word summary with a specific next-week recommendation.
- Voice discipline: hold the official government voice across every platform and format.
-
SKILLS & ELIGIBILITY
- Hands-on knowledge of X, Meta and LinkedIn norms and formats.
- Ability to differentiate tone and length by platform — not one message everywhere.
- Calm, factual instincts under crisis conditions and awareness of approval chains.
- Comfort reading analytics and turning them into actionable recommendations.
- Bilingual (English + Hindi) publishing capability.
