Office Based Sales Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support from an office-based environment, handling customer inquiries and understanding requirements. You will recommend suitable solutions, prepare quotations and proposals, and coordinate with internal teams. You will also support the sales team in achieving targets while ensuring strong product knowledge and customer satisfaction.

Your job

- Monitor and track open quotes, orders, ensuring timely follow-ups to expedite transactions, thereby achieving business goals
- Manage credit processes and assist in developing customer-specific pricing strategies to align with business potential and maintain competitive position
- Identify opportunities to replace competitor products with Festo equivalents, collaborating with the field team to target current business and increase market share
- Suggest value engineering approaches and deliver optimized automation solutions to meet customer needs,



enhancing product efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Share knowledge of the latest product offerings and phased-out products with the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with current information for effective customer engagement
- Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to provide insights that inform strategy & sustain Festo's competitive edge

Our requirement

- 3–7 years of experience with a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with strong technical understanding and product knowledge in industrial/automation solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, understand requirements, and support sales activities
- Self-driven individual with a go-getter attitude, strong teamwork, and good business acumen with basic market awareness
