Need to ensure completion of SUT Compliance activities that includes preparation and filing of MFT & FET Tax returns and supporting Data for E&Y.;
Responsibilities
- Completion of Motor Fuel Tax and Federal Excise Tax returns within Jurisdiction timelines.
- Provide data of Sales and Use Tax liability to EY as per the agreed timelines
- “Nil” error in LA tax rate table update
- LA tax rate is updated as and when there is a tax rate change
- Completion of Canadian return worksheets as per agreed timelines
- Support review of “aged items” in NA tax accounts
- Regular review with Tax accounting team to understand the status of unreconciled accounts due to SL
- Ensure all data needed for Tax journals and payments are given to GBS Tax Accounting team
- Support SUT Audits
- Support Alwin analysis
