Description
- Monitor compliance of all fleet vehicles with applicable transport and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update vehicle compliance records and documentation.
- Track expiry and renewal of RC, insurance, PUC, fitness certificates, permits, road tax, and other statutory documents.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, fitness tests, PUC testing, and other mandatory checks.
- Ensure vehicles are operated only with valid and up-to-date documentation.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and identify gaps or non-compliance.
- Coordinate with RTOs, authorized agencies, insurance providers, workshops, and other external stakeholders as required.
- Maintain a compliance calendar and provide advance alerts for upcoming renewals.
- Investigate and follow up on vehicle-related violations, challans, notices, and regulatory issues.
- Ensure corrective actions are completed within defined timelines.
- Monitor compliance with company vehicle safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with drivers and fleet teams regarding documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly compliance reports for management.
- Maintain records of incidents, violations, penalties, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and updated documentation.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure proper filing and secure maintenance of physical and digital vehicle records.
