Job Title: Sales Executive – Outstation Sales (Footwear Industry)
Experience: 1–2 Years
Location: Candidate can be based in any state/city (local market coverage); reports remotely to Head Office – Kolkata
About the Role
We're hiring Sales Executives to grow footwear sales in their own local market through dealers and retailers. Candidates will be based in their home city/state and are expected to have strong working knowledge of that local footwear market. Travel within the assigned market for 10–15 days at a stretch will be required to build and manage dealer/retailer relationships. Reporting to the manager will be done remotely. Experience in footwear sales is a plus; orthopedic/comfort footwear experience is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within and travel across the assigned local/regional market for 10–15 days at a stretch to drive sales
- Build and manage relationships with retailers and distributors in the local area
- Identify and generate new business leads within the local market
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Track competitors and spot new business opportunities
- Submit regular sales reports to the manager remotely
Requirements
- Graduate, any discipline
- 1–2 years of field/outstation sales experience
- Must have strong, first-hand knowledge of their local/state footwear market — key dealers, retail hubs, and demand patterns
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into new business
- Footwear industry experience preferred; orthopedic footwear a plus
- Willing to travel within their region for 10–15 days at a time
- Comfortable with remote reporting and working with minimal on-site supervision
- Good communication skills, self-motivated, target-driven
