About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:

- Design, develop, debug, and maintain Embedded Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
- Develop Linux Kernel Mode Drivers utilizing C programming and Linux kernel APIs.
- Work on IPC mechanisms, DMA driver development, memory management, and kernel subsystems.
- Develop and support Graphics Drivers using DRM/KMS, OpenGL, Vulkan, and Mesa frameworks.
- Develop Multimedia and Video Drivers using technologies such as VAAPI, GStreamer, and V4L2.
- Implement and optimize Power Management features including System-to-RAM and S0ix states.
- Develop Display Drivers and support display stacks including X11, Wayland, Weston, and Embedded Display Systems.
- Develop and maintain Audio Drivers and Audio Frameworks including ALSA SoC (ASoC), I2S, and TDM protocols.
- Develop Ethernet and Network Drivers for Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Perform board bring-up, kernel customization, boot flow analysis, and system integration activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex kernel, driver, and hardware-software integration issues.
- Optimize driver performance, reliability, scalability, and power efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, validation, and testing activities.
- Create and maintain technical designs, implementation documents, and debugging guides.

Qualifications:

- Experience Range: 5–10 Years (5+ Years Relevant Experience).
- Strong C Programming skills.




- Hands-on experience in Embedded Linux Driver and Kernel Development.
- Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals and Kernel Programming concepts.
- Experience with IPC (Inter-Process Communication) mechanisms.
- Experience in DMA Driver Development.
- Strong expertise in Device Driver Development for Linux platforms.
- Experience in any one or more of the following driver domains:

- Graphics Driver Development (DRM/KMS, OpenGL, Vulkan, Mesa).
- Video / Multimedia Driver Development (VAAPI, GStreamer, V4L2).
- Display Driver Development (X11, Wayland, Weston).
- Audio Driver Development (ALSA, ASoC, I2S, TDM).
- Ethernet / Network Driver Development.
- PCIe Driver Development.
- MIPI Driver Development.
- Strong understanding of Linux boot flow and system initialization.
- Hands-on experience in complex kernel debugging and root cause analysis.
- Experience working with hardware interfaces and embedded platforms.
- Proficiency in Yocto-based Linux development environments.
- Experience with performance optimization and system-level debugging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with GPU, Multimedia, Networking, Audio, or Display subsystems.
- Knowledge of real-time and embedded operating systems.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools and embedded validation techniques.
- Exposure to BSP development and customization.
- Experience working on Intel, ARM,



or other embedded platform architectures.

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
- Master’s Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
