Proficiency with back-end Java Spring Boot Frameworks (Spring Cloud, Spring Security, etc.) and familiarity with Data Product API development and event streaming.

Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, Java Script and familiarity with Java Script frameworks such as ReactJS.

Proficiency with debugging the user interface and back-end application layers.

Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MS SQL Server and Azure Cloud Databases.

Experience integrating with data mesh architecture (e.g. Snowflake, Sigma, Databricks, etc.)

Knowledge of Azure and/or related cloud technologies.

Experience with event streaming architectures, preferably Confluent Kafka.

Familiarity with private and public cloud architectures, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Azure.

Strong experience in Test-Driven-Development (TDD) and writing Junit tests.

Competent using Git Hub, Git commands and Azure Dev Ops pipelines.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Design and develop ReactJS user interface as outlined by the design team user interface specifications (ex. Figma) and technical architects.

Design and develop Spring REST based APIs within technical framework as outline

by technical architects. Design and develop effective RESTful services and APIs.

Design and develop event streaming handlers and stateless and stateful processors as outlined by technical architects.

Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform.

Identify appropriate technical solutions that provide business value while mitigating technical debt.

Participate in R&D; and proof of concept (POC) development before active development for any key features where solutions need to be created.

Understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and/or other methodologies.

Experience working on projects following Agile methodologies including Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), etc.

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Azure Dev Ops or any other CI/CD tool.

Robust collaboration, communication and

coaching skills.

Work with other developers on the team, specifically with code reviews and pair programming.

Consult with business partners on requirements and synthesize into technical requirements and designs.

On the technical side, work with architects, designers and enterprise framework groups on the best solution for both business and IT.

Decipher existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources.

Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.

Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
