Job Description

Responsibilities: - Design and implement the QA strategy from scratch, including frameworks, tools, processes, and standards. - Build and maintain automated test suites (functional, regression, performance, security). - Set up and own QA within CI/CD pipelines. - Perform and oversee API, UI, and end-to-end testing for AI-powered legal products. - Define and track quality metrics and reporting for leadership. - Work directly with founders, engineers, and product managers to embed quality into every sprint. - Hire and mentor junior QA engineers as the team scales. - Own bug tracking workflows using JIRA or equivalent. - Evaluate and decide on tooling and budget for the QA function. Requirements: - 4-8 years of QA experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or lead capacity. - Proven experience building QA processes from scratch (startup experience strongly preferred). - Hands-on with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. - Robust in API testing, Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent. - Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and Git. - Experience testing AI/ML-powered products is a big plus. - Exposure to performance and security testing. - An excellent communicator can translate QA insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - In an entrepreneurial mindset, you see gaps and fix them without being asked.
