About the Role

We are seeking a qualified, and experienced Special Education Needs Teacher to join a reputed CBSE school in Bangalore located near International Airport. The candidate will be responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs, developing individualized learning strategies, and working closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to promote inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and assess students with special educational needs in coordination with the school's academic and support teams.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on students specific learning requirements.
- Provide individualized and small-group intervention to support academic, behavioral, social, and developmental needs.
- Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, classroom activities, and assessments to ensure accessibility and inclusion.
- Work closely with mainstream teachers to implement appropriate accommodations and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Monitor and document students progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
- Conduct regular reviews of IEPs and recommend appropriate modifications based on student progress.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians and provide guidance on supporting children's learning and development at home.
- Participate in school meetings, parent interactions, training programs,



and other relevant academic activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certification/valid registration is mandatory.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or recognized qualification in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and relevant CBSE academic requirements.
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, intellectual disabilities, or other special educational needs will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Special Educator/SEN Teacher, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Experience in handling diverse learning needs across different age groups.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and documentation practices.
