We are hiring: Head Chef / Brand Head Chef – Sorano Mumbai

Sorano is opening in Mumbai, and we are looking for a strong culinary leader to head the kitchen for our new restaurant.

This is a serious opening role.

We are looking for someone who can lead a premium Italian / up-to-date European kitchen with discipline, taste, calmness, and ownership.

The role requires someone who can:

- Lead the opening kitchen for Sorano Mumbai
- Execute and evolve a strong Italian-led menu
- Maintain consistency, prep discipline, plating, hygiene, and service standards
- Work closely with the Group Culinary Director and founders on menu, product development, training, and guest feedback
- Build, train, and lead a strong kitchen team
- Understand food cost, wastage, recipe cards, ordering,



and kitchen systems
- Bring modern thinking without losing comfort, generosity, and flavour
- Handle high-pressure service without chaos

We are not looking for only a creative chef or only an operations chef.

We are looking for someone who can do both: cook beautifully and run a kitchen properly.

Prior experience in premium restaurants, Italian / European kitchens, high-volume service, restaurant openings, or strong independent restaurants will be valued.
