About the Organization:
Ultraviolette Automotive is seeking a seasoned Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and grow the Electronics Technical Program Management team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing cross-functional program execution across battery systems, charging infrastructure, wiring harness, vehicle control units, cluster development, and on-board charger programs. The Staff TPM will mentor a team of Technical Program Managers, drive program governance, and ensure delivery excellence across all electronics sub-systems.
Job Description:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Technical Program Managers spanning battery engineering, charging infrastructure, wiring harness, VCU/cluster, OBC, and motor/motor controller domains.
• Own the end-to-end program lifecycle for all electronics programs from concept to production — defining milestones, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Establish and drive program governance frameworks, including gate reviews, risk registers, change management, and escalation protocols.
• Serve as the primary interface between the Electronics Engineering leadership and cross-functional partners in Mechanical, Firmware, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Drive dependency management across parallel programs to ensure integration timelines are met at the vehicle level.
• Define and continuously improve the team's program management processes, tools, and reporting cadence.
• Lead executive-level program reviews and provide transparent visibility into program health, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Champion engineering schedule rigor, enabling data-driven decision-making and proactive course correction.
• Partner with Principal Program Manager to support headcount planning, team capability building, and org growth.
Requirements:
• 12+ years of experience in program or project management in automotive, EV, or consumer electronics hardware companies.
• 5+ years of experience directly managing or leading teams of TPMs or engineers.
• Deep technical understanding of EV electronics systems including battery management, power electronics, embedded control systems, or charging architecture.
• Strong command of program management methodologies (Agile, Stage-Gate, or hybrid frameworks).
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-discipline programs with hardware, firmware, and system integration components.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with APQP, DFMEA, DVP, or similar automotive development processes is highly desirable.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline required; M.Tech or MBA preferred.
