About The Job:

- Experience: 8-12 Years
- ERGO is executing a structured transition program for its legacy email archiving solution based on OpenText Email Archiving (Email Bridge), which is approaching end of vendor support.
- The objective is to ensure long-term accessibility and compliance of archived emails by restoring them into Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online mailboxes.
- The project follows a restore-based migration approach, using the existing Email Bridge functionality to execute restores in structured waves.
- The external support role is explicitly scoped to operational execution and post-processing activities, while preparation, planning, and communication remain within the internal project team.
- The role is designed as a dedicated operational execution support function focused on standardized restore tasks and post-processing activities.

Essential Job Functions:

- Execute restore jobs via Email Bridge based on predefined batches and restore waves.
- Assign users to pre-defined restore groups as instructed by the internal project team.
- Re-execute (retry) restore jobs where required.
- Monitor restore execution and job progress.
- Track restore success, partial completion, and failures at mailbox level.
- Identify irregularities or failures during execution.




- Maintain structured tracking of restore activities and status.
- Ensure transparency and traceability of restore progress.
- Validate restore outcomes per mailbox after execution.
- Identify partially restored or unsuccessful mailboxes.
- Support follow-up activities for incomplete restores, including re-run identification.
- Assist in post-processing tasks such as consistency checks and preparation for clean-up activities.
- Support identification of data inconsistencies such as missing or incomplete restores.
- Escalate complex or non-standard cases to the internal project team or specialist resources.
- Ensure structured handover of issues requiring deeper analysis.

Qualifications:

- Experience in operational execution of technical batch processes or migration activities.
- Ability to execute repetitive, structured operational tasks reliably and accurately.
- Strong skills in monitoring, documentation, and status tracking.
- High level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience with email archiving solutions, ideally OpenText Email Archiving / Email Bridge / Email Management Administration Console.
- Understanding of Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 mailboxes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical logs.
- Experience in large-scale data restore or migration projects.
- Familiarity with handling technical exceptions and batch retries.
- Experience with parallel processing and operational throughput management.

- Preparation, planning,



and design of restore waves.
- User communication and stakeholder coordination.
- Definition of restore strategy or execution model.
- Technical architecture or solution design.
- Handling of complex exception cases (e.g. VIP, large, or pool mailboxes).
- Deep technical troubleshooting or root cause analysis.
