We’re Hiring | Accounts & Tax Associate

HCO & Co., Chartered Accountants is looking for an Accounts & Tax Associate to join our team in Bengaluru.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build robust practical experience in accounting, GST,

TDS and statutory compliance while working closely with multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage books of accounts for clients
- Handle accounting and bookkeeping on Tally / Zoho Books and similar platforms
- Prepare and file GST returns and related reconciliations
- Assist in preparing GST refund applications and supporting documentation
- Prepare working papers and details for GST notices, audits and assessments
- Prepare and file TDS returns and related compliances
- Assist with ROC / MCA compliances and filings
- Coordinate with clients for accounting and compliance-related information
- Assist senior team members in tax, accounting and other statutory assignments
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance records for clients

Who We’re Looking For

- B. Com / M. Com, IPCC, CMA-Inter or equivalent Commerce graduate
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a CA firm
- Good working knowledge of Tally and/or Zoho Books




- Comfortable with MS Excel, Word and other MS Office applications
- Basic practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliances
- Good communication and client coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet statutory deadlines
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assignments
