Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, update, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, remote tools, or in person.
- Configure and support Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and other productivity tools.
- Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions using Active Directory or similar tools.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including LAN,
Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet access.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, antivirus updates, and routine maintenance.
- Manage IT assets, including inventory, device allocation, and warranty tracking.
- Install and support printers, scanners, and other office devices.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when required.
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
