Job Overview

We are looking for a result-oriented Study Abroad Career Counsellor to guide students on higher education opportunities in top destinations like the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and Europe. You will serve as the primary advisor to students and parents, helping them navigate course selection, university admissions, standardised tests, visa processing, and overall career planning

.

Key Responsibilities

- Student Counselling: Conduct end-to-end profile evaluations and counsel students on suitable universities, programs, country choices, and career pathways.
- Admission Guidance: Assist students with application submission, statement of purpose (SOP) reviews, letters of recommendation (LORs), and portfolio presentation.
- Visa & Scholarship Assistance: Guide students through financial documentation, scholarship options, and overseas student visa filing.
- Lead Conversion & Follow-ups: Engage with prospective leads through walk-ins, calls, or virtual meetings, handle inquiries,



and convert walk-in inquiries into successful enrollments.
- Test Preparation Advisory: Educate students on test requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT, SAT) and connect them with training modules.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong rapport with students, parents, and university representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction and referral rates.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in overseas education counselling.
- Availability: Immediate joiner or maximum 15 days' notice period required.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of university admission criteria, application timelines, intake seasons, and visa guidelines for major study destinations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; fluency in regional languages relevant to the location is a solid plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Active listener with persuasive negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
