Job Summary

Kaseya is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development of scalable software platforms and cloud-based applications. This role will focus on building testing and maintaining software features that help organizations improve operational efficiency security and visibility across their technology environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience delivering production software collaborating with cross-functional teams and continuing to grow technical depth in modern SaaS and distributed systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop test and maintain software features for cloud-based applications and platform services.
- Contribute to backend services APIs integrations and core platform components.
- Participate in code reviews design discussions sprint planning troubleshooting and production support.




- Work with senior engineers QA product management UX/UI and operations teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Follow engineering best practices for secure coding automated testing CI/CD documentation and maintainability.
- Investigate bugs performance issues customer-impacting defects and technical problems while driving resolution and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to improvements in reliability usability security scalability and system performance.
- Communicate progress blockers and technical questions clearly within the team.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of software engineering experience building production software SaaS applications platform services or similar systems.
- Hands-on programming experience with languages such as Java C# .NET or similar technologies.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL SQL or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with agile development code reviews automated testing CI/CD and debugging production software.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SaaS products enterprise software business applications or cybersecurity solutions.
- Exposure to AWS cloud-native platforms distributed systems or large-scale applications.
- Understanding of APIs application security service reliability and scalable software design principles.
- Experience working with integrations telemetry systems data processing services or application monitoring tools.
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks while seeking guidance when needed.
- Strong collaboration troubleshooting and communication skills
