Designation: Accounts Executive - Finance

Reporting to: Head of Finance

Location: Kolkata

Key Responsibilities
Support monthly closing of books and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and analyse monthly MIS and management reports.
Analyse actual performance against Budget, Forecast and Previous Year and provide variance explanations.
Analyse standard vs. actual cost, production variances, wastage, yield and other manufacturing cost drivers.
Evaluate the financial impact of consumer promotions, trade schemes, discounts and other commercial initiatives.
Monitor and analyse inventory, working capital and ageing.
Undertake financial analysis and other assignments as required by the Finance leadership team.

Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounts.
Valuable understanding of Gross Margin, contribution and product/SKU profitability.




Positive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify business drivers.
Excellent MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.
Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to prepare management presentations.
Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle will be an advantage.
Ability to independently analyse financial data and present explicit, concise and actionable conclusions.

Key Qualification
CA Inter / CA Intermediate Mandatory.
Candidates pursuing CA Final may also be considered.

Experience
34 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG / Consumer Products / Manufacturing.
Experience in MIS, costing, management reporting, plant finance or commercial finance will be preferred.
