Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, invoices, and payment records.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables/payables.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
Prepare MIS reports and other management reports as required.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.




Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Solid analytical and numerical skills.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Experience in Tally/ERP systems and advanced Excel will be an advantage.Role & responsibilities
