- Vio upgrades maintenance.
- HMC Management.
- Creating UNIX file systems.
- Setting up and maintaining UNIX user accounts and access management systems.
- Implementing network and computer system policies.
- Detecting and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Responding to user requests and software errors.
- Monitoring the performance of the system and server.
- Creating backup and recovery policies.
- Setting up and monitoring security policies.
- Applying patches and upgrades when necessary.
- Management of Centralized user through AD authentication.
- Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware systems including circuit boards, memory modules, and processors .

- Configure ethernet link aggregation, configure virtual SCSI devices,

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with AIX/Linux/P9.
- Experience of working with EC2 instances AWS.
- Server Hardware: Hands on exp. with Server Hardware for vendors AIX Linux.
- Understanding of Vio concepts and working.
- HMC Management reporting.
- Incident management - System failure analysis and recovery; insuring system consistency.
- Proactively managing the workplace to prevent incidents from occurring.
- Problem management - Determine root cause and drive issues to resolution.
- Vastool - User management through AD process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Conduct training sessions for staff.
- Experience with Ansible for automation.
- Implementation of standard security protocols for Unix systems.

Good to have:

- Experience with Storage services.
- Basic understanding of Oracle Database.
- Familiarity with AWS handling.
