The Training & Placement Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing placement activities while strengthening relationships with hospitals, healthcare organizations, diagnostic centers, pharmaceutical companies, and other healthcare employers. The role also involves organizing training programs, workshops, and career development initiatives to enhance students employability.
Key Responsibilities
Placement Management
Develop and maintain robust relationships with hospitals, healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic centers, NGOs, and corporate healthcare employers.
Identify placement opportunities for students across various healthcare disciplines.
Coordinate campus recruitment drives, interviews, and selection processes.
Maintain an updated database of recruiters and placement opportunities.
Achieve placement targets by increasing employer participation and student placements.
Industry Relations
Build strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and industry leaders.
Coordinate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and collaboration initiatives with recruiters.
Represent the institution at industry events, career fairs, and networking forums.
Training & Development
Plan and organize employability enhancement programs, including:
Soft skills training
Communication skills
Resume writing workshops
Interview preparation sessions
Group discussion training
Personality development programs
Coordinate technical and clinical skill development sessions with internal and external experts.
Student Support
Guide students on career planning and professional development.
Conduct career counselling sessions and placement orientations.
Monitor student participation in placement and training activities.
Maintain placement records and generate periodic reports.
Coordination & Administration
Coordinate with academic departments regarding placement schedules and student eligibility.
Prepare placement reports, employer feedback, and placement statistics.
Maintain documentation related to training programs and recruitment activities.
