- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
- Ensure that the data visualization design is aligned with the overall data strategy and business goals.
- Optimize existing Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) to create dynamic dashboards.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and integrity across dashboards.
- Provide support for ad hoc data requests and dashboard enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Tableau and data visualization.
- Leverage advanced Tableau features such as calculations, parameters, level of detail (LOD) expressions, and Tableau Prep for data cleaning and transformation.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to present complex data in a clear, engaging manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard design and development (Mandatory)
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep. (mandatory)
- Robust understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle).
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and KPIs to align visualizations with business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
