Brief Job Description

We're not just looking for someone to cut and paste clips, we need a storyteller. No Fluff is looking for a Video Editor to craft visually compelling narratives that grab attention and leave an impact.

This in-office role in Mumbai gives you the creative freedom to shape our visual storytelling across multiple platforms. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and know your way around After Effects, we want you on board.

What You Will Be Doing

Transform Raw Footage into Compelling Visuals

- Turn raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that capture audience attention.
- Craft seamless narratives that enhance the storytelling experience.
- Edit for maximum impact - optimising pacing, flow, and visual appeal for different formats.
- Adapt content for various platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.

Master the Technical Symphony

- Work across Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to bring motion and energy to every edit.
- Integrate motion graphics and animations to elevate the final output.
- Apply colour grading and sound design to enhance production quality.
- Ensure videos are optimised for different formats and platforms with seamless transitions and sharp delivery.

Collaboration and Innovation





- Work closely with creative teams, designers, and strategists to bring concepts to life.
- Implement feedback efficiently, fine-tuning videos to align with brand messaging.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, experimenting with fresh editing styles and techniques.
- Organise and manage post-production workflows for smooth and efficient execution.

Requirements

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (DaVinci Resolve for colour grading is a plus).
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and seamless transitions.
- Knowledge of video codecs, compression, and delivery formats.
- A solid grasp of sound design and audio editing, because visuals are only half the story.
- File organisation and project management skills to handle multiple edits efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

- 2 - 4 years of professional video editing experience, with a solid portfolio to showcase your skills.
- A knack for storytelling through video, beyond just cutting clips.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without missing a beat.
- Strong communication skills, so your creative decisions make an impact.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms and social media.
