Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Package Consultant – Service Now with a deep specialization in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) to drive enterprise-level transformation. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between IT operations, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams.

You will lead initiatives to modernize Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), streamline automated Discovery, optimize hardware/software asset lifecycles, and enhance operational workflows within the Service Now ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical domain expertise, rigorous data governance standards, and strong stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements Engineering & Solution Delivery: Engage directly with cross-functional enterprise stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate complex business needs into accurate functional specifications, user stories, and technical delivery roadmaps on the Service Now platform.
- ITAM & ITOM Architecture Support: Overseationalize end-to-end IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM) and IT Operations Management processes. Drive implementation strategies across CMDB, Service Now Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
- CMDB Health & Data Governance: Enforce data quality standards, health metrics, and automated governance frameworks across the Configuration Management Database to ensure an accurate, single source of truth for enterprise IT assets.
- Lifecycle Optimization: Design, refine, and optimize end-to-end asset lifecycle workflows—from procurement and deployment to maintenance, renewal,



and decommissioning.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Process Transformation: Facilitate alignment between IT Operations, Security, Procurement, and Business Units. Champion best practices, ITIL frameworks, and continuous operational improvements across Service Now modules.
- Quality Assurance & UAT: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define test scripts, and validate platform configurations to ensure deliverables meet stringent operational excellence and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Industry Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst or Consultant driving large-scale IT Service Management (ITSM), ITAM, or ITOM transformation initiatives.
- Service Now Domain Expertise: Hands-on functional expertise across Service Now modules, specifically including CMDB, Service Now Discovery, Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Service Mapping.
- Framework Knowledge: Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks, asset lifecycle management practices, and enterprise IT infrastructure operations.
- Data Management Skills: Proven track record in establishing CMDB health rules, data reconciliation, identification and reconciliation engine (IRE) rules, and automated asset tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Advanced capability to lead requirements workshops, negotiate priorities with enterprise leaders, and translate legacy operational processes into agile Service Now solutions.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong proficiency in root-cause analysis, data mapping, gap analysis, and process modeling.

Preferred Certifications

- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Micro-Certification / Implementation Specialist in ITAM, SAM, or ITOM
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Higher
