Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage overall EHS activities across the manufacturing plant.

Ensure compliance with statutory EHS, safety and environmental regulations.

Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments / HIRA for manufacturing and high-risk activities.

Implement and monitor electrical safety and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

Ensure safety across sheet-metal manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment and plant operations.

Conduct regular EHS inspections, safety audits and safety walks.

Identify unsafe conditions/acts and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis.

Develop and implement EHS standards, procedures and safety protocols for the plant.

Ensure appropriate safety measures are in place before starting current processes, machinery or high-risk activities.

Drive EHS awareness and safety culture among employees and shop-floor teams.





Develop and implement EHS training programs and maintain the training matrix.

Coordinate with plant operations, production, maintenance, facility and contractor teams for EHS compliance.

Ensure proper PPE, emergency preparedness and accident-prevention measures.

Support preparation and implementation of HIRA/EHS plans for plant activities.

Monitor and manage environmental and safety compliance at the manufacturing facility.

Coordinate with government authorities, fire department and external agencies whenever required.

Promote continuous improvement in plant safety performance and EHS practices.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Engineering or equivalent

Industrial Safety qualification/course

EMS / OSHA Auditor certification preferred

Strong knowledge of EHS, industrial safety, electrical safety, LOTO, HIRA, audits and incident investigation
