1. Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related discipline from a fully accredited college or university
2. 6-8 years of experience automation testing software
Essential Technical Skills:
1. Languages: Java, JavaScript
2. Testing Frameworks: Web automation tool - Cypress and/or Selenium
3. Database: PostgreSQL
4. CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions
Essential work experience:
1. Experience developing automation code using web-based automation tool like Cypress and/or Selenium
2. PostgreSQL Database experience is required
3. Ability to understand data and/or analyze preferred, to write and execute detailed test scripts, to create/extend framework
4. Experience testing APIs
5. Circle CI experience preferred
6. Experience testing either Angular JS or React applications preferred.
7. Good communication & presentation skill, being a client facing role, the candidate should be able to manage stakeholders.
Essential duties and responsibilities of the Quality Engineer- Automation (But not limited to):
- Work effectively along with Client in automation area
- Ensure the product is released with minimal defects
- Collaborate proactively in a cross-functional team to deliver current features in a timely manner
- Help with the recreation and validation of customer reported issues
- Develop data driven framework and scripts to support code drops in various environments
- Produce automated reports to provide test results for each execution
- Collaborate with key team members to improve automation framework for reusability and speed
- Help other team members execute and build automation scripts
- Document defect reports including steps to reproduce
- Familiar with using source control software, bug reporting software
Preferred Technical Skills:
1. Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and or Oracle will be preferred.
2. Experience with Salesforce preferred
3. Experience in Solar or Lending businesses preferred.
